Weikeng Chen is an MPC & ZKP researcher active in many areas of zero-knowledge proofs, including hardware acceleration, customized and application-specific proof systems, privacy and anonymous payments, and cryptographic engineering.
He was previously the co-founder of DZK Labs, working on hardware acceleration, and the chief scientist of Discreet Labs, working on privacy coins.
He graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, advised by Raluca Ada Popa, working on MPC and ZKP. He h as published papers on MPC & ZKP in academic conferences in IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, and NDSS. He obtained his bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and is a recipient of the Guomoruo Scholarship. He is also a Director of USTC Alumni Foundation.
